Gardening is a wonderful and rewarding hobby!  It's a great way to connect with nature get exercise and grow your own food.  Providing you and your family with healthy choses.  

 

  • Planting and Growing

      Show you your climate to choice suitable plants.  
    • Select your plants: Decide what you want to grow, whether it's vegetables, herbs, flowers, or a combination.
    • Test your soil: Analyze nutrient levels and pH to determine soil amendments.
    • Prepare the soil: Amend your soil based on test results to create a healthy growing environment.
    • Design your garden: Plan the layout of your garden, considering raised beds, ground planting, containers, or a combination.
  • Preparing

    • Understand plant needs: Research the growing periods of your chosen plants. Aim for at least two growing seasons to maximize your harvest.
    • Plan your garden: Create a garden layout based on your plants' growing periods, considering companion planting and crop rotation.
    • Start or buy plants: Decide if starting seeds indoors or purchasing seedlings is best for your plants and gardening style.
    • Provide adequate space: Ensure each plant has enough room to grow and thrive.
    • Proper planting depth: Plant seeds or seedlings at the recommended depth to prevent hindered growth.
    • Optimize sunlight: Place your plants in areas that receive the appropriate amount of direct or indirect sunlight.
